Cheyenne County Fair Digital Campaign
The Cheyenne County Fair promotion was an opportunity to take a ticket giveaway that had traditionally struggled to generate call-in participation and give it a stronger digital presence. My role began after the partnership was secured and focused entirely on executing the digital campaign. I created a dedicated landing page, developed and scheduled coordinated Facebook and Instagram content, and designed graphics that gave listeners a clear path from seeing the promotion to entering the giveaway. The result was more than 50 entries and a successful way to connect the available tickets with people who genuinely wanted to attend.
Creating a Place to Land
Social media was only one part of the campaign. I also created a dedicated landing page on the Media Logic Radio website using Wix. The page gave listeners one central place to learn about the ticket giveaway, enter, and connect with additional Cheyenne County Fair information.
Social media posts directed users back to the landing page, creating a clear path from seeing the promotion on Facebook or Instagram to taking action.
My Role in the Campaign
I was not involved in securing or negotiating the Cheyenne County Fair partnership. Once the campaign was turned over to me, my responsibility was to execute the digital portion of the promotion.
I created the campaign landing page, designed the social media graphics, wrote the accompanying Facebook and Instagram content, incorporated links and hashtags, and scheduled the posts throughout the campaign. My focus was making sure all of the digital pieces worked together and gave listeners an easy way to participate.
The Results
These fair tickets had traditionally been difficult to give away through call-in promotions, often generating very little participation. By moving the promotion online and creating a simple path from social media to the campaign landing page, we saw a significant increase in interest.
More than 50 people entered the ticket giveaway, giving us a strong pool of participants for tickets that had previously struggled to generate calls.
The digital format also made it easier to select winners, contact them, and successfully get the tickets into their hands before the event.
