My Plum Jam Maker Recipe
A quick and easy recipe for a small batch of plum jam.
Ingredients
- 2⅔ Cups Crushed Plums
- 3 tbsp. Pectin
- ½ tsp. Butter
- 3⅓ Cups Sugar
Instructions
- Wash and Pit plums
- Chop plums into nickel size pieces with scissors.
- Crush plums with a potato masher.
- Cook in pot at medium temperature for approximately 4 minutes. Stir frequently.
- Add sugar while stirring. Cook until thickened and sugar is dissolved. Approximately 15-20 minutes.
- Ladle into sanitized jars.
- Water bath jars. Process for 10 minutes.
